I just really want the BCS rankings back and the committee out. Have an 8 team playoff and make all 5 conference champs automatic qualifiers. Then award the last three spots to the three highest bcs rated teams that didn’t automatically qualify. Seed based on BCS rankings.

At least bring back the BCS and take the top four

The committee is silly.

He’s right though, it’s not really a playoff

Use BCS computers to select the top 6 conference champs and seed them.

The championship game is a neutral site and the 2 previous rounds are at the higher seeds home stadium. The top two seeds get a bye.

No At-Large teams as it is just a mulligan for losing to a better team in your conference. Everyone basically has access since the non power 5 conferences can beef of their schedule and win on the field to compete for one of the spots.

Seeding would be incredibly inportant because of byes, home field, and #3 would probably match up with a non power 5 in the first round.

How would you handle Independent teams in that situation?

Please don't tell me they would have to join a conference, either. Dumbest shite in the world. I would entertain that argument if Notre Dame played a weak schedule, but right now they play USC, Michigan, Navy, and a ton of ACC teams regularly.
