Let's wait until all of the facts come in before we start blaming Mickey. If the wife was cheating it puts a whole different paint job on things.

Ok...so say she was cheating..how does it put a different paint job on things? Is it excusable or justifiable to put your hands on your wife?

which culminated with their 62-24 win against Spurrier's undefeated team which was also a phenomenal team).
1995 Florida was great but an ideal matchup for Nebraska with a tissue soft front and no experience against their offensive style. Way different from the FSU, Miami and Oklahoma teams that troubled them for so many years
No one matched up well with them due to how well they ran the option with how fast/strong they were (and I'm sure they were roided up too). They went undefeated in 94 and 95. They beat Miami by double digits the year before for the NC.
The closest anyone had come to beating UF in the regular season was 11 points. That was FSU who finished #4 (Auburn played within 11 too and finished ranked). Tennessee finished at #3 with and UF beat them with Peyton Manning by the score of 62-37. UF was just obliterating teams. At that time, it was unimaginable that UF would get beat like that. But 95 Nebraska was that good.

Wrong.
Nebraska always beat the shite out of the Kansas and Kansas States of the Big 8. It was the defenses from Switzer’s Oklahoma teams, Johnson and Erikson’s Miami teams, and Mickey Andrew’s FSU defenses that gave them problems.
Those teams had numerous All-Americans in their defensive fronts and DC’s wise to Nebraska’s schemes. 1995 Nebraska faced no such animal in the regular season or bowl game. They also didn’t have to play in the old Big 8 House of Horrors known as the Orange Bowl.

They beat the last remnant of the ‘80s/‘90s Miami dynasty by 7 in the Orange Bowl.
I’m not saying 1995 Nebraska isn’t an an all-time great, but with no Switzer in the regular season, no vintage FSU or Miami defense to contend with, and no Orange Bowl stadium to play in, they undoubtedly had less resistance than most of Osborne’s teams.
