Win his division?

He needs to work on finishing better than 3rd in the division first.

Maybe he can get to second best and win 2 national championships!

He needs to at least beat a team with a winning record.

There is quite a bit of irony in a Gump criticizing a coach for not winning his division.

Oh God. The butthurt about this is ridiculous.

Still made it to 2 Natty games without winning the division and is 1-1 in those games with one being one of the better Natty games in recent memory.

Not sure what this had to do with anything? Miles had been at LSU for 5+ years at that point. Harbaugh did that his first 2 seasons taking over a 5 win team that was ranked 112th in the nation offensively

Michigan has a cake schedule.

They have to play at Notre Dame, at Michigan State, home against Penn State, at Northwestern (never a gimme), and at Ohio State this year.

If they have a good record this year, they'll have earned it.

I'm shocked to see Penn State finish like they did. They may become a legitimate contender in a few years.

They've been a legitimate contender the past two seasons. They will be better next year with McSorley back, and they get OSU, Wisconsin, Iowa and MSU at home this season.

I expect them to win the Big 10.

@ND
Penn State
@Ohio State
@Michigan State
Wisconsin

That's 5 games against top 10-15 teams and they play @ Northwestern who will probably be top 20-25 as well.

Their schedule is difficult.

I highly doubt he could go to second best team in the country, make the championship, and then throttle the frick out of his overrated opponent.

Maybe, but probably not.

Matt Flynn was the definition of avg QB and Miles won a NC in his 3rd year with him.

2010 and 2011 were years of completely terrible to at best approaching mediocre QB play.

Anybody in the Top 10 has a chance if they get the opportunity by vote to play in the Natty.

Doesn't erase the fact not a single Bama team this decade went undefeated in the regular season and two didn't win their division let alone Conference.

So that team in 2016 didn't go 12-0 in the regular season?

Finishing top 10 back to back seasons with completely Average QB play is actually pretty impressive.

That already got another "Michigan " man fired from a job where he won the BCSNC and competed for another.
