Well, when you go against the slow northern defenses for all but two of those games, I guess you can say he's lucky.
How did he do against Miss State last year? How does he look against Va Tech's defense? Total fluke touchdowns that took place after drives were extended by penalties, and just missed interceptions.

After watching the Big 10 in New Year's Day/BCS bowls the last two years, I'm pretty sure the NCAA will enact a law banning a Big 10 team from playing in the title game until further notice. Boise doesn't get in by going undefeated in the Mountain West, and neither should Michigan for winning the Big 10.
