I know what WAR is.
You also said that Riley shouldn't even be considered for MVP b/c of his WAR.
If that's the only value you base winning an MVP on, then we're done here.
Let's see what you think in late September when he's hitting .300 w/45 bombs, a .940-.945 OPS and an OPS+ pushing 160. You and others won't be yelling "bUt hIs WAR iSn'T hIgH eNoUgH" b/c w/those #'s they'll be no choice but to have him top-2 in the MVP race and frickers like you will finally realize just how good of a player Thicc is.

Riley is on his way to being in the convo if he continues to stay hot.
As Braves fans we are seeing his potential and realize what his numbers could be at the end of the year, especially if the guys in front of him continue to get on base.

Fair enough, but my argument for Riley’s bat would be it was better than Arenado’s last year and he is only 25 and seems to be ascending. Also, Arenado is greatly outperforming his expected stats this year (xwOBA of .328)
Arenado is much better at putting the ball in play, but Riley just hits it harder (double the barrel rate of Arenado).
