Miami Benefits from Keeping ACC Happy

With Duke winning, the ACC would have been left out. This would be unacceptable to a major conference who plays a huge roll in supporting the CFP. Miami got the political bump. (FYI, I hate ND.)

Yes. Politics with bama too. ND is a strong team and might beat any team in that playoff so they have a legit gripe. Since the committee decision 2 years ago to leave out a team weakened by injury, Alabama should be on the outside with 3 losses and a weak ending to their season.
Sucks for ND and BYU frankly. BYU only lost to Texas tech who might be the eventual champion. Alabama is proven loser with 3.

Miami is in bc they beat notre dame. Bama is in bc the committee didn’t want to penalize a team who made their conference title game while notre dame sat home. Bama beat vandy so they were gonna let them jump in.

I am ok with leaving Notre Dame out. Can someone explain how their games are scheduled on a year to year basis since no conference? Join a power conference

Duke lost 5 games, BYU benefits from a shitty conference.
Miami beat ND…it’s pretty simple.
If anything, Vandy should have gotten in over those 3.
