Yea, Patterson was playing man coverage the entire day with no safety help over the top. If the WR got a solid release it was cake. I couldnt believe that the entire game today. It was ridiculous.

Its not an unfair pt. Yall havent played a really good defense all yr. Im not saying Mayfield isnt great. Lets look at the game today. Coming out of halftime rhe firsy scoring play to no.3, Patterson had a fricking lb/de (no.9) cover the flat with no safety on that side. Wtf? The next series where the bomb to Brown was completed was basically a TD beforw the ball was snapped. He's so fast he'll beat anyone on a 9 route if hes in man, and once that was figured out by Mayfield pre-snap it was a TD. He looked the safety off and knew where he was going with the ball. Brown got behind the defense again a few series later due to no safety help but Baker missed the throw. That was the play where Brown still almost caught the ball falling backwards into the endzone.

That's cute. But TCU is 8th in the county in scoring defense . 8th. And that's unadjusted. Playing in the big 12. Held 7 of their opponents below 10 points.
But yeah go ahead. They looked bad because our offense is great AND balanced. And most importantly, and the main difference between this year and two years ago, our offensive line is one of the best in the nation.
Clemson would obviously be favored against OU, but the "they haven't played any D" talk is simply either dumb or dishonest.

TCU does not have anywhere near the talent that LSU, Bama, Auburn and Georgia has on defense. Not even close.
