This was pretty expected playing a banged up Miami team with a horrible QB and maybe the worst choker ever of a head coach in Mark Richt.

Clemson’s D Line is like nothing Mayfield has seen this year. And Oklahoma’s defense is hot trash also.

Not saying Baker isnt really really good, but who have they played this yr that has a solid defense? Discount the entire Big12, they dont know what defense is or how to even approach becoming competent at it. You think Mayfield will be able to put up those numbers against a team that can play man with their skill guys on the outside and spy on him?

That was 2 years ago when Mayfield was a first time starter and sophomore at Oklahoma.
He threw for 300 yards that game and completed 64% of his passes. Had a 79 QBR.
More like a 5th year senior Mayfield with way more experience than he was 2 years ago as a RS Soph. is NOTHING LIKE Clemson has ever seen.
He's not Malik Rosier or any of the shitty QB's Clemson has played in the ACC.
Mayfield is ripping apart and through any college defense he faces in the playoff.

With all the success this staff has there are just some things that make no sense. On a drive where you can go up 4 tds you decide to feature cj fuller and other backups. Meanwhile feaster and etienne are chilling on the sideline. Quit screwing around

Uh TCU has a bunch of guys on defense that will be playing in the NFL and Patterson is one of the top defensive coaches in the sport. Baker destroyed them twice.
Ohio State has a shite ton of guys on defense that will be playing in the NFL, and he went into Columbus at night, and ripped them apart.
He is a 5th year senior who has mastered that offense and is playing out of his mind. Nobody is stopping him.
