They've been down the last few years but he ran a very good program there making 3 ncaa tournaments and of course that big win over iowa

I was a student there in 2006. I will never forget that Iowa game.

I was a student there in 1982-84. Fell out of my chair when they hit that three vs Iowa.

Didn’t compare numbers but McConathy was head coach of Bossier Parish for 17 years. He has been a head coach in Louisiana since 1983. Maybe if add all his wins together?

One of my favorite March Madness memories/upsets, along with Hampton beating Iowa State.

And he was an incredible player at LaTech! Still blows my mind that the powers at be during that time, had no interest in hiring him…at his own Alma Mater.
