This board will be almost unreadable for the next couple days. Lebron will get so much shite taked about him, shel will be in full on defense mode, it will be fricking terrible.

i hope shel just ignores all those threads, as well as every other lebron defender/fan.

let those idiots post all their shite talk about lebron and circle jerk each other, i wont be feeding those trolls

Lebron needs to remember that he is LeBron James next game.

Fixed.

He's the best player in the NBA. Sure, there is nothing wrong with the best player in the NBA deferring to the 2nd best player in the NBA at times. Hell, even most of the time.

But for LeBron to have 8 points is complete shite. It's almost like he has accepted the Pippen role for this series. Well, Pippen probably took around 15 shots per game in the Finals when they were winning, and he's no where near as good as LeBron.

This is the kind of mental games I've been waiting for with the Heat. A Dallas blowout in Game 5 with Wade and James struggling and getting upset with each other could be a back breaker.

if only that were the only time the heat passed up a better look and threw the ball away while trying to get it to a guy in a worse spot

Well yea, but this wasn't an open jump shot, it was an open dunk!

shel won't defend LeBron's offensive performance tonight. He will defend what LeBron has done throughout the season and the Eastern Conference playoffs (and rightfully so), but there is no defending LeBron's game tonight in terms of his offensive mindset and approach.

its what they keep doing. they need to learn the mavs aren't gonna give up an easy look late so just take any decent chance u have and dont panic if they have a guy running at u from somewhere else if he isn't even gonna make it there in time to affect the shot.

Game 5 in the 2-3-2 format with the series tied is possibly the greatest thing in sports.

The home team absolutely has to win, and the away team feels a ton of pressure too.

To listen to the talking heads on ESPN/Sirius radio shows, you'd think dallas hasn't WON a game since the portland series.

Against LA? The end of a dynasty. They just weren't motivated.

Against OKC? They were just too young. They weren't ready for the spotlight.

Against Miami? Miami gave the game away. They don't even PRETEND that dallas did anything well. miami gave it away.

It's crazy how large Miami's margin of error is. This was probably one of Lebron's worst playoff games, they turn the ball over 6 times and go completely cold in the 4th and still almost win.

Replace "Miami" with "Dallas", and then "Lebron" with "Nowitzki, Kidd and Barea", change turnovers from "6" to "13" and then change "still almost win" to "still win", and there you go.

...and yes, I said Nowitzki because he was 6-19 so it could have been much worse.

No, I think what you are seeing is a very very good defense shut down a one man show only to go cold in the 4th on offense. The mavs are working 2 or 3 times as hard as the heat to just stay in the game.

So, the Heat are shutting down the Mavs, but the Heat are just going cold without the Mavs having any influence. Spoken like a true homer. Maybe you should have watched a little more Mavs before the Finals since they have definitely played much better than this in every series leading up to the Finals.

The crux of my post was that Miami has a ridiculously large margin of error, larger than the Mavs. I don't think any objective basketball fan would disagree with that

Well, thr crux of my post was that the crux of your post was flawed because the Mavs had similar discrepancies that they don't normally have. Apples to apples and oranges to oranges. Yes, obviously if Lebron has a bad game, the Heat can still win because of all their other weapons but it just sounded like another lame excuse from a Heat fan on why they didn't win. If that's not what you intended then I apologize.

I'm making a conscious effort starting now to other the silliness. Cull still discuss Finals topics, just ignoring the silly posts.

I blame it on the wife LOL. I normally just post late at night so I don't post much or get much back and forth.

But the wife is on bed rest in the hospital so all my times spent here and I have a lot of free time with her getting tests and other shite. So I'm usually just stuck posting here Sony post count has probably tripled in recent weeks.

Though I guess that van circle around and still be blamed on me.

Conscious effort starts now!!!

No doubt, they have had games "won" and let the Little Mavs come back on them.

It seems like Miami just has to show up, have at least three guys play well and walk away with a win.

Miami still looks surprised when Dallas plays great defense. That is what has made a difference in the series. Dallas has always been an offensive team.

No one can say the Mavs are mentally weak anymore with the resiliency they have shown. Unless they are just an idiot!

Nothing in this serious has led one to believe we can "blowout" Miami. The heat are still in control of the series because the title is to be won in south beach. Those games will be played in front of hostile refs and crowds. Dirk would win the most amazing championship any player has ever won
