Not really. The heat are clearly the better team, but for some reason don't want to blow teams out.

yeah, the heat obviously have a strong sense of sportsmanship

Exactly, obviously that was a big win for Dallas, and it does hurt Miami but if the heat would play a game from start to finish then this is a blow out of a series. The series is tied 2-2 but isn't that close IMO.
.

Dear lord you're dumb. The series could have easily ended with the mavs winning it all tonight, as well as the heat winning it all tonight. The series is just about as close as one can be. The mavs have played like shite in nearly every game also. From your post I would think you haven't even watched the series.

True, but Dirk played uncharacteristically bad for his standards. 6-19 I think? His normal 10-19 would have changed the game a lot, obviously.

Yes, LeBron had 8, which is even more out of character. But LeBron is not the Heat's best player in this series. Dirk is the Mavs' best player.

If Dallas can put a complete game together (get a lead early, Dirk plays well, supporting cast plays well, play good D with help from Stevenson and the zone), they will be in any game no matter how good Wade and James play.

James needs to step up his game. He needs to attack. Wade and Bosh can't do it on their own.

I'm still clinging to my hopes that we will get to see how the Heat react to an elimination game, even if it is at home. We haven't ever seen them in that position.

If LeBron is pressing and tentative in a game that isn't series-defining for his team, imagine how crappy he could play if he feels the pressure in a game that could end their season.

Miami is a big part of the reason for this. Yes, Dallas is making a lot of unforced errors, but that'll happen when you are pressing on offense because you know how great your opponents are on that side of the floor.

Thinks Federer/Nadal.

The Heat clearly have more room for error. Having both Wade and Lebron gives them that over just about every team, and they also play great defense. They can win when just about everything goes wrong

Exactly. Problem is, lebron has no confidence and would rather dish to haslem..

Haslem?!?!

Really? Good player but come on man you are lebron James. If you want a ring then go get it. If that's me, I put that team on my shoulders and drive the lane the entire 4th. We win and we lose through my hands. No one else touches the ball n

I wish I was on here for the play where LeBron got the pass off of a full-speed cut in the middle of the lane and could have easily gone up for the dunk attempt, but then passed it off.

That was fricking retarded.

No, I think what you are seeing is a very very good defense shut down a one man show only to go cold in the 4th on offense. The mavs are working 2 or 3 times as hard as the heat to just stay in the game.

yet the series is 2-2. working hard is part of the game, you know.

ETA: and yes, the heat going cold has NOTHING to do with the dallas d

"If Miami would play a complete game this series would be over."

Is the same not true for Dallas? If Dallas just didn't commit a billion unforced turnovers (very uncharacteristic), they're up 3-1. See. It works both ways.

You go by results. It's 2-2. You can say Miami's the better team...but no "clear cut" superior team surrenders leads like Miami has done so far this series.

This board will be almost unreadable for the next couple days. Lebron will get so much shite taked about him, shel will be in full on defense mode, it will be fricking terrible.

if only that were the only time the heat passed up a better look and threw the ball away while trying to get it to a guy in a worse spot

Mavs bench has been their strong suit during the playoffs.

Except vs. Miami. They clicked today. Also, Miami's defense is penetrable when the ball is passed a few times, but not too many times.

Miami comes out in game 6 and wins decidedly goes home to close it out.
