Thanks for being the only one in here to say this. Jeff Demps ran either a 10.00 or 10.01 in high school.

Yes. he ran that at the Olympic Trials in the summer after he had graduated HS. Some people consider that the HS record and others don't. Boling ran the fastest time by a High Schooler in a High School only meet.

Fake news. Trentavis Friday ran a wind-legal 10.00 in ‘14. Demps and Schwartz also ran faster. This may be an NFHS record, but the NFHS is dumb and doesn’t recognize a lot of legitimate high school performances.
