I understand that people freaked out and overdid it with the lockdown reactions but what nobody is talking about is how the FDA and CDC fricked up royally not giving drug therapies the same push as the vaccines.
A lot of these deaths would have absolutely been preventable if the FDA would have provided the same kind paths for new drugs that they did for vaccines. We could have saved maybe a hundred thousand people or more and not had the impetus for new lockdowns we are seeing now. 9 months after this shite started the only new drug we had was one that barely worked, remdesivir and didn't work at all for really sick people when there were drugs languishing in underfunded trials that showed real promise of efficacy. There are deaths of real people on the heads of the bureaucrats at the FDA and CDC.
Fauci got to throw out the first pitch at the Nationals game while the CDC was making bull shite decisions that ruined lives.
