If we can get him back the playoffs we'll be ok.

Maybe we can knock off a decent team (NYJ, NE, Baltimore) if we get the 1 seed and have home field.

Leinart though.... that's tough

If Leinart looks bad in two weeks I wouldn't be shocked to see them make a run at Garrard....

Sorry, I'm not going to get in an argument with a bunch of Texans fans.

why, cause you know you don't any substanive reason to offer?

I'd take a team like New York or Baltimore who have been there and won on the road in the playoffs over Houston.

I love reasoning like this. The Jets as a franchise had been to the playoffs before of course, but in 2009, how much playoff expirience did they have? A rookie QB and new HC? yet they won 2 playoff games in a row on the road. That the franchise hasn't been there doesn't really mean anything, but people always cling to stuff like this.

As for the Ravens, what are they know for? Defense and running game. Hum, wonder what the Texans strength is?

I don't think they'd beat a team like Pittsburgh in the playoffs.

You mean the same Pitt team they beat earlier this year?

Schefter is pretty good about being correct.

no one locally is reporting that yet.

He's saying lisfranc, which is a possibility, but has not been said publiclly locally yet.

Don't even try on this board when it comes to the Texans or Houston sports in general.

There are probably tons of Houstonians here, but they root for the Saints/Pats/Cowboys/Steelers. Basically whoever is good at the time.

I love my city but we might be number 1 nationally in the "fair-weathered fans" category :(

There's been a good number of Texans fans on this board, but for some odd reason, a good number of haters as well.

Probably weren't winning in the playoffs anyways. But I guess you never know.

I disagree. Good chance they would have got a first round bye and would have played at home and at least had a shot to win a game or two. This year (even with Mario out for the year), their D is stout. Arian Foster is an absolute monster.

Now, that I think about it. The Texans have had their four best players all miss time and two for the season. Mario, Foster, Schaub, and Andre. That shite cra'

Soooo....the Texans are where they are because of Matt Schaub?

Silly me...i thought it was their 2nd ranked rushing attack and #1 ranked defense....

Any Matt could QB that offense...hell...i could QB that offense
