They just gave Sanchez a large target to throw to, so even if he's half the player he use to be, he'll still be as good as Braylon was for the offense, with better hands.

You think Plax's 50% is better than Braylon at 100%?

I think they can win with Rex, he just needs a dose of act right. Sanchez is just fricking horrible.

Sanchez has shown nice improvement from year 1 to year 2. You could see them open the playbook up a little more for him in year 2. He was still mainly just a game manager. I think in year 3 you'll see them take more shots downfield and then i think you'll be able to make a judgement on how good he can really be.

Not many guys start at QB as a rookie anyway. And most that do end up being pretty bad.

Hard to say he is garbage after 2 years.

HE's played even better in playoff games. He has a 94 QB rating in 6 games compared to his 70 rating in regular season games.

not sure how anyone can say this considering how close they have been the last 2 years with basically a green Qb

Plaxico also seems like a lot less likely to succeed than vick did because vick had to humble himself and work his way back in the league as a backup and really focus

Plaxico came off in his interview about the whole incident as someone who blames everyone but himself for the incident and he also got a fully guarenteed contract to start for a contender because teams want to have Vick like success but i dont see it happening

Plax owes Vick some money imo

I'm sorry, but a 34 (?) year old Derrick Mason is not an upgrade over Cotchery or Brad Smith.

And I'll take Braylon Edwards over Plax anyday. Plax hasn't played in over 2 years and already can't stay healthy.

How do you expect Sanchez to have any chemistry with any of these new additions? Especially taking into consideration the lock out. The Jets got worse, not better.

Not to mention, the Pats got significantly better this off-season.

In the Jets' offense? Yes, because all he has to do is be big, block, and work the coverage he gets based off Holmes'...

Rex Ryan is a great coach, and the Jets are a very good team.

The jury is still out on Sanchez.

That being said, I don't think they'll win one with him at QB.

It not a downgrade either because J-Co didn't mean that much to the offense.

Brad Smith.

Never contributed as a WR with the Jets, so there is no reason to mention him. He was a good ST player and a Wildcat QB, both of which was made less important going into this season.

Then take him. Edwards isn't this irreplaceable WR, so for me to bitch and moan about him leaving would be silly. Plaxico brings the same thing to the offense that Edwards did.

You realize Sanchez still has 3/4 of his favorite targets on the team right?

Then they went out and got 2 veteren WRs, both who have good hands and run great routes. They aren't rookies, it's not hard to strike up a chemistry with season vets in a short time.

You should have said this in the 1st place, then I wouldn't have argued with your ignorant arse. Someone believes everything ESPN puts on their screen...

He's one of the few QBs in history who raises his game significantly in the playoffs - most QBs barely maintain their regular season level and go slightly down in the playoffs due to the increased competition - Peyton Manning actually goes way down in the playoffs taking career totals. Just sayin'

What a little bitch he is.

Such a nonstory, yet everyone is pushing as hard as they can trying to make it one.

A qb wanting to fight his head coach is a nonstory?
