There was NO split in 2003 LSU won the BCS title!!!! USC fans are the pretenders here. BTW LSU would have CREAMED USC in 2003!!!! USC has been great for the last seven years, BUT they have only played in two BCS title games. You play the season to get to that game. OU has been to 3 LSU has been to 2 and won them Both. Fla has been to 2 and won them both. And even OSU has been to 3 so I would say that based on that USC is 4th best!!!! SORRY BUT TRUE!!!!

Been to two. Won one. Either pick the crystal or pick the ugly wooden plank. Can't call them both NCs.

In 2003, the AP title was still a recognized national championship, thus the 2003 title was the last split national championship.

I don't understand why the LSU morons don't get that, and why splitting a national championship bothers them.

Florida and USC are the top 2 programs right now, I give UF a slight edge because if the hard ware, though last year they were basically even,

it doesn't bother me, some of the hyperbole at the time pissed me off (ie Keith Jackson declaring the 04 Rose Bowl the "people" national championship" or people calling it half a title. This radio host here in Houston said LSU won 1/2 a NC, I called and asked him hiow many NC's Tom Osborne won, when he said 3 I called him out for being a hypocrite and he naturally hung up on me

Yeah, but you're a rational and intelligent human being, unlike some other people on this thread...

I have said 3 times in this thread that USC has been the best program the last 7 years. However, I am taking about what a team plays the season for. That is to get to the NCgame. Usc hasn't been there as many times or been as succesful as the other teams I mentioned!!!

In 2003 the coach's trophy was not the only acknowledged national championship.

If the shoe was on the other foot, you would be claiming the split title for LSU.

Seriously, get the frick off my board and go back to the rant.

He also touted playing against OSU, Penn St, and in big time meaningful BCS bowls, all while in a huge media market. He also stated he ran scrimmages against the best D in the land.

Oh, and it's extremely obvious that the "Sanchez is shooting up the boards" story was NOT an example of you people's myopic perception that ESPN and the rest of the media are biased in favor of Southern Cal. That bias does NOT exist, and the only people who think it does are retarded LSU fans who have an inferiority complex.

Pac 10 = weak sauce, get a real conference with real competition and come talk to us SEC folk

You'd at least think the SEC could muster something close to a .500 record vs. the PAC-10.
