Freeman inherited a much better situation than Kelly did at LSU 
I’m not suggesting Brian Kelly is elite but if I had the option I’d pass on both of them.

The only 2 things anyone can say about Freeman vs Kelly with any certainty is that 1) Freeman is infinitely more likeable and 2) he inherited a MUCH better situation than Kelly at LSU.
Time will tell who comes out ahead in the next couple years.
