....if he refuses to retire, do the Broncos just cut him?

Who would trade for him?

He has a 22 million albatross on that franchise and is basically half a player.

He's not returning and if he does, he's definitely NOT returning with the Broncos.

He is going to retire. Manning is smart enough to not tarnish going out a SuperBowl winner. That win totally changes his legacy to tGOAT because he did it with 2 different teams.

How did winning a Super Bowl as Trent Dilfer make him the GOAT?

Until he has four SB rings, he is not tGOAT.

It's sad how he ended his career. He was a liability the entire game. It was cringeworthy

He did not contribute to the Broncos winning the Super Bowl or any game this season besides the scheduled cupcakes

Didn't contribute, huh?

The board makes me laugh sometimes. Most of the time I just shake my head.

Yeah, it's a team effort. To say he didn't deserve it is silly to say. He was on the field, his team won.

He contributed. Not much, but still contributed.

He stood like a statue in the pocket, couldn't make downfield throws, and committed two turnovers. He threw for less than 150 yards, no touchdowns, and his 56.6 rating was fourth worst all time for a Super Bowl. The only nice pass he threw was the slant for the 2 point conversion. I'll give him that one.

And he obviously did enough to get the win, and that's all that really matters.

Going out as a Super Bowl champion is about the saddest ending I can think of. Wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy

He was a liability, not an asset.
