There was a lot of hype for them this year. I don't keep track of baseball as much as I probably should but this is kind of upsetting.

I have no idea, but I would buy you a beer just for making a thread other than NBA related.

The board was kind of awesome this afternoon with all the baseball threads.

Now, the morons are out in full force. Lebron physically not being able to play the last two minutes and Westbrook making one mistake having these fricksticks stroking their cocks.

Here's an actual response:

They just don't have enough all star level players. I saw them and the Rangers last week, and the d backs have a ton of guys that have bounced around as good, solid utility men, but very few are really excellent players. Aside from Upton and Kubel, it seemed like every guy that stepped to the plate I said to myself "hey I know who this guy is. He was a pretty decent player at random other baseball team." But none of them were really all that special. If some of those guys can pick it up, they'll be really good. Meanwhile, every Ranger that stepped to the plate it was like o my god this guy's a beast.

O, and that rookie that leads the nl in rookie wins. Wiley or Miley or something like that. They need two more pitchers like him. Pretty much shut the Rangers down the night I saw them.

Dang... Sad to hear since all I heard about was all the young talent they had preseason.

Justin Upton got off to a pretty bad start. Chris Young and Daniel Hudson got hurt. Ian Kennedy hasnt been as good as he was last year and Josh Collmenter was terrible in the rotation and has now moved to long relief. They've been playing a little better for a couple weeks now.

Wade Miley, he's been great. I've heard they might trade joe saunders which would free up a rotation spot for Trevor Bauer. I think we all know what Bauer is capable of.

They definitely have some young talent. Just not fully developed yet. They have a mix of guys. If they can stick together and 3 or 4 guys hit their stride, we'll be saying they're stacked in a couple years. The night I saw them they had a couple fielding issues, but they out hit the Rangers. They looked very athletic.

They also have a coaching staff full of former greats. Gibson, Don Baylor, Matt Williams, Alan Trammel. Don Baylor looks like he can hit a ball 600 feet.

Also, anybody ever watch Kirk Gibson? The guy can barely walk. What's up with that? Did he have more injuries that were big deals aside from the famous one?

Stephen Drew being out since this time last year doesn't help either, though he's pretty close to ready.
