That’s why it was like 1 push and a whole bunch of posturing until the fan throws the beer.

Yea Burr's comment on that was great.

How are you willingly going on the court as a fat out of shape fan and trying to fight giant athletes

What a clown post dude

Clearly Artest had no problem punching fans, so if he “wanted to fight” why didn’t he punch Wallace?

Because nba fights are only pushing? That’s excuse is bullshite when Artest is punching people like 30 seconds later.

Everyone forgets that the most dangerous moment in all that was the punch Jermaine O'Neal landed on a fan near the bench. He got a running started and threw his whole weight into a punch that landed squarely on the fan's jaw. He could have easily suffered massive head trauma.

Homeboy got his money's worth that night

I actually know some friends and family of that dude. To say that he has still not lived it down is an understatement. They play a replay of that every time they get together during the holidays.

According to the Grantland article, Charlie Haddad, who went onto the court and O'Neal hit, had numerous incidents, including being approached by security for something earlier in the game.

In fact, most of the fans and players who contributed to it seemed contrite and learned from it, but this Haddad fella tried to file a lawsuit against a bunch of the players.

Great and thoughtful reply man.

You trying to say punching a fan isn’t as severe as punching a player?

O’Neal’s foot slipped or that could have been a lot worse.

So did Ron want a fight or not? You said he did earlier, but this post implies he doesn’t.

Yet I’m the austistic and downsy one...

It's ok, you obviously don't know much about the NBA or basketball in general. I'll give you a pass.
