I don't think that. I KNOW he won't. He is the current golden boy. If he doesn't shoot enough, he is a team player. If he shoots too much, it is because he HAS to carry the team. If the Cavs win, it is because of James, if they lose, because of the team.

A team I might add that has 4 current and former all stars on it.

I feel this way too. Howard definitely just put his arms up and backed away. Lebron jumped into him. Also, Lebron and Pietrus didn't get tangled up. Lebron elbowed him and he may or may not have flopped to the floor. The elbow was definitely thrown into his chest either way

I never said Pietrus fouled Lebron nor have i said that Howard fouled Lebron.

But anyone who says that shot was UNCONTEST clearly does not know what an uncontested shot is.

I have no idea how anyone can disagree with that statement, lol.

per dictionary.com

Contested: to struggle or fight for, as in battle.

Howard was backing away arms in the air, avoiding contact by getting out of the way. Please explain how these actions apply to this definition.

The fact that you say this leads the average reader to believe you think I was trying to STUMP you in the first place. Why would you ALREADY be thinking that unless you knew question I was posing to begin with?

I was clear enough for no one else to question what I meant.

why the frick not pull up for a 10-12 foot jumper like the entire game? he could have shot a three, a mid range j, or a pullup right outside of the circle underneath and had a quality look.

1. Was there contact??

2. If it was uncontested, why was Lebron double clutching? If it was truly UNCONTESTED, Lebron woulda dunked it, no?

"To struggle or fight for, as in battle" So, if you take a jump shot, and I jump and try to block it and just miss, that is not an uncontested shot because there was no struggle, or fight, or battle??

If that's the case there is no such thing as a contested shot, LOL.

The Lakers = 2 all star players, total for career

The Cavs = 4 all star players, total for career

That is all.

Dude, your posts are getting less coherent by the minute, this is awesome.

You posted saying that "i had no reponse" or something, clearly acting like YOU thought you stumped me.

Now, you're just rambling incoherently about God knows what.

But because i have no clue WTF you're talking about, you stumped me. Yea, that makes sense.

dunking the ball over someone standing stationary is still uncontested. just bc someone is there does not make it a contested shot.

And trying to shoot the ball over a guy who jumps up while you draw contact on that guy is CLEARLY a CONTESTED shot.

So, do you think the Cavs have a better supporting cast?

If not, I dont see what is the point of bringing that up.

Expectation does not equal contested.

quote:

Yes because Lebron James would know AHEAD of time that Howard would back up. James drove expecting to be contested but Howard did not oblige because he didn't want to foul out and send James to the line. But of course, Lebron got the call anyway.

quote:

So, if you take a jump shot, and I jump and try to block it and just miss

Except that is not what happened. If I take a jump shot and you back up with your hands in the air, then it is not contested.

if a driver makes contact with a defender, it's contested by definition
