Obviously had to be done...but it still feels weird.
Les made the SEC so much fun.

I'm sure all the top coaches will be lining up to coach for the school that fired the winningest coach in program history mid season. Why didn't they just fire him at the end of last year if they were going to do this? What a clusterfrick

Been a long time coming. I've never seen a more lucky coach and team from about 2007-2012. Elite talent, questionable coaching a lot of times. If they get somebody like Herman they'll be deadly.

Get a head start on the coach search.

Should've did it last year, instead of listening to the media

It makes too much sense for him to replace Corso, right? That needs to happen.

Les represented LSU with class for over a decade. The admin made him twist in the wind last year only to retain him so they could fire him four games into the season. The guy is a multimillionaire so I can't feel too bad for him, but he deserved better.

LSU administration is about as delusional as their fan base.

(a) Terrible clock management year in and year out and (b) way too much talent on these teams to be so bad on offense.
They gave him one more chance, nothing improved, so they let him go.
