Lowest FCS teams survivability

After seeing Louisiana College upset Northwestern St, that got me wondering. Their athletic department budget is 15 million but they only bring in 12. How do you survive at this rate? How does NIL work for someone in Natchitoches? Stud LB gets free daiquiris at Maggios? It doesn’t make any sense.

It must be awful being a fan of small schools now. Anytime you get someone who has a decent season they are out the door the moment the season ends it sucks

The fans of these schools are the worst. Full disclosure, I did attend there for 2 years before transferring to LSU. I remember they had an early day game one day and LSU night game. I attended the NSU game while wearing an LSU shirt and one of the student workers there decided to chirp at me saying if I liked that school I was supporting so much I should’ve attended there. Weird how those types of people have an apples to apples comparison of the two schools.

Of course. But these guys aren't getting paid or a pittance because there's no money or reason to pay them (since there is no demand).
Jared Verse played at Albany before FSU so exceptions occur but that really wasn't the point of my response anyway.

yep, college football has definitely become a minor league of itself.

Thanks. That college is a complete dumpster fire that should have been shut down by now and they are throwing away money on athletics.
