Or you could have a three way tie at 9-1 and somebody draws the short straw, which kinda sucks when that means you beat one of the two teams that made the playoffs in that scenario.

They did, but Gros had left for Nicholls before I got to Hahnville in 76. My dad was an asst. principal at Hahnville when Gros was there, we were good friends with the family.

My last game as a ball boy was at stadium by courthouse 2nd round game 1974

or worse in the point system, you get a wrong score from a game and allow a cheap TD with backups in and boom you sit home.

This photo popped up on my newsfeed in the last 2 days and felt relevant to a nostalgia thread, but was due to sad circumstances, where Michael Burks was murdered in New Orleans last week.

I was probably at that game, I would have been in 8th grade. We still played baseball and football there when I was in High School. The stadium on Hwy 90 opened around 1981 or 82 even though the school moved to that location at the start of the 1975-76 school year.
