Anyone else think the tournament should go back to being rotated across the state? Although it's nice to be able to several great baseball games in one place.... there seems to be one team that benefits to having a home game every year in 5A???????.... nothing against Barbe because they are a great program but should have to travel more than 5 miles every so often to play for a dang title.....Since it started all being in Sulphur in 2014 this is what Barbe has done....
2014 Title
2015 Title
2016 Title
2017 1st round exit
2018 Semis
2019 Title
2021 Title

Yes Barbe is a great program, but having a packed home crowd to play in front of while other every year while others have to travel an average of 2 hours is bull $hit ???????

Not sure it matters. Barbe dominated when it was in new Iberia, they won one at Turchin, it doesn’t really matter. They travel well too.

Barbe won when it rotated. It really doesn’t matter. Barbe would win anywhere they play. Amazing program

They also don’t leave their area for the entire state playoffs because the higher seed hosts every round for all 1 or 3 games

Several Nola area teams made it to some without leaving the city

Some won, some didn’t

Build a better facility and politic for it. Sulphur does a great job hosting the championships.

I'm more worried about OCS dominating 1A. I think they can move up now. It's the Evangel of the 90's.

Play teams on your level you bunch of bitches. never forget 2011

The problem with Evangel’s domination was probably that other Shreveport teams weren’t winning... if others from there were winning, no one would have minded Evangel

I think 5 of the 12 state champions were from NE Louisiana???
