I prefer 1 and done. Softball does it and you ought to know the atmosphere in Sulphur is incredible.

nope never been there...
but i'm not talking about the semis and finals (though i wish that was 2/3 also)
i'm talking about round 1, which it looks like some of the teams LHSAA is banking on for the nonselect finals might not survive

I think the first round interferes with other LHSAA events that are going on and you cant make the athletes choose. Also the first round usually falls on Monday/Tuesday which could run into testing and the athletes missing school.

nah but if Barbe loses, they can blame the split, bc without it, Haughton wouldn't have been there and they would have gotten Lafayette High... is Dak in CF today?

Best sport to watch and broadcast for sure is softball in Sulphur. Jam packed, stands hollering non stop, and the action is fast. 6 games going at one time makes it that much better.

I went to the softball state tournament around 5 years ago when i was still in school and my school's softball team made it. It is a great atmosphere even though you say it's "just softball". Tons of fans from all over. Great time.

This Barbe upset is huge... Huge for 5A baseball. First new champion in what 3-4 years depending how u say it? Because they won 3 straight years.
