But shouldn’t Georgia be the front runner since they’re first place in the east?
No sweetheart.. like I said earlier (see below)... the link to the standings show the overall record as well. So you can make an educated guess based off of past performance.

Ummm because those standings show overall records as well which gives you more of an indication of which is the better team... not just who has been better in conference.

Well then tell me, who will finish ahead of the other, ULM 13-10, or ULL 10-13?

Based on strength of schedule and how each has done against superior opponents... ULL should finish ahead of ULM. You for some reason think that I said "take the records and standings as Bible."
What I actually said is:
quote:
you can look at the standings here and make that decision for yourself.
quote:
more of an indication of which is the better team
Decision and indication are not finite words... by their own nature, they open themselves up to examination and study.
You use the standings and the links to the individual teams to make an educated guess based on multiple factors... why is this difficult for you to understand?

I would say ULL but I am a little tarnished after the mauling ULM took last Sat. That has to leave a team scarred for the rest of the season.

You’re stupid. I was trying to start a discussion and you came at me like I said something stupid. I do actually look into details on teams, RPI, SOS, and other things. Like I said before, I was trying to start a discussion with people about the sun belt. Don’t know why you got so triggered from what I said

I didn't get triggered. I came in and tried to clarify your question. Then I provided a helpful link to aid in the discussion that you wished to start. However, your poor reading comprehension skills, took my post to mean something completely different. However, now as you have realized that you look like a GED dropout by the way you have responded... you decide to call me stupid.
So tell me, since you have done all the research... who is the second best team in the Sun Belt, assuming that you consider Costal Carolina to be the best.

South Alabama. RPI of 37 and SOS of 31. Only bad stretch they’ve had thus far is when they had to play a midweek against Auburn and then had 4 straight at Texas Tech. Lost all 5 of those games. Getting it done against the lower tier teams and have done good against middle tier and upper tier teams

ULL, Georgia Southern, Little Rock, UT Arlington, and Troy in the mix as well. ULL has the best chance of all of them because of the talent they have but we’ll see if they just lay down and give up after a rough start to the season or if they come out and play to their potential

It's only the 4th inning and they're starting the "this game means more to them" excuses.

I pointed out that our pitcher tonight is really a weekend guy working his way back from an oblique injury and that turned into "they're pitching their ace against us!"
