Was really hoping Auburn would get paired up against Michigan. We have not played them in a while

You guys can get a NY6 game in Dallas against Memphis.

Leave Harbaugh to us. We need something to feel good about

They did against Utah in 2009.

Since the program began its elite run in year 2 under Saban we've played 3 non playoff or championship bowl games

31-17 loss to #6 Utah in the Sugar Bowl after the 2008 season.

49-7 win over #7 Michigan State (3 way tie for B1G Champs) after 2010 in the Citrus Bowl

45-31 loss to #11 Oklahoma I'm the Sugar Bowl after the 2013 season.

1-2 record doesn't look great. I'm hoping we show up since it looks like we'll play a top 20 Big 10 team but I'm not convinced either way.

I'd be most concerned playing Minnesota. They're QB looks good and he has some nice WRs. Would be a big opportunity for them to make a statement after getting wrecked by Wisconsin and seems like a game our players wouldn't give a shite about.

Fleck would definitely spend every ounce of energy he had to try and win that game. Bama would play it, but only because they had to. You are right, that would be a terrible matchup.

So many Alabama players will skip the game that Michigan might have a chance #GoBlue

This would be a cool matchup, but likely a blowout

It beats playing USC or Tennessee though

Why? They don't mean anything less than they used to At least since the advent of the BCS

Well that's convenient of you to say, with you being a Michigan fan and all.

LSU has never played Michigan. Never.

And heading into the last week of the season in 2006, LSU was set to face Michigan in the Rose Bowl. 10-2 #6 ranked LSU against 11-1 #3 ranked Michigan...

And then USC choked against UCLA and fell out of the national title game and Florida slid in. That moved USC to the Rose and LSU to the Sugar where we beat Notre Dame 42-14.

I still regret that we didn’t get to make that trip to the Rose Bowl to play Michigan.

They sure did care about beating us in the Citrus Bowl a few years ago. Also, last year’s Peach Bowl was a sellout and there were probably more UM fans there than UF.

Big 10 teams seem to always bring larger contingents, it's basically a vacation for them after all

You obviously didn’t see his last bowl game at LSU against Iowa.
