true but Jordan was also known for trying to stay between his man and the goal

Yeah, he’s never come out and said so nobody knows specifically what the issue is, but watching him play it’s obvious. Not to mention he’s worn a brace on his knee and he left the game last night for a little while and went back in the locker room and came out and was riding the bike.

He’s obviously dealing with something, he just hasn’t specifically said what it is and will downplay it in interviews when asked.

Another thing it could be is that he missed 1 game in late December with a sprained toe.

At one point in the future do Rox fans admit maybe Harden’s game isn’t translating in to anything meaningful?

Not trolling.

they destroy every team they face in the playoffs save for the best roster in league history. Surely you remember the g sweep a couple years ago.

Geez how the freak do you go 1/17. Surely at about 1/10 you would think he'd realize "ok tonight is clearly not my night shooting the ball. Maybe I should drive or get one of my teammates involved.

He wins a ton. Even in the playoffs. How about you be honest for a second...

If it wasn’t for the historically good Warriors, would you agree the Rockets would have gotten to the Finals at least once, if not several times in recent years?

The only team who has even avoided a g sweep in the playoffs is the all time great warriors. Tbt no one else has even been able to give him a series since he has entered his prime.

That’s funny. It’s never been obvious according to anyone until last night when he left in the 3rd quarter with a thigh injury.

Not to mention he’s worn a brace on his knee

A quick review of recent game recap photo galleries shows something on his left knee for 1 game, I think against the thunder.

and he left the game last night for a little while and went back in the locker room and came out and was riding the bike.

Rockets All-Star got hurt in second half, was able to return but had another poor shooting night. Russell Westbrook continues to carry team.

He’s obviously dealing with something, he just hasn’t specifically said what it is and will downplay it in interviews when asked.

Or he’s just having a historically bad shooting streak. Funny how he’s well known for these kind of games by everyone, but rockets fans always have a mystery injury to explain them away.

So then the 1 game knee brace and thigh thing last night are big nothings, right? Make up your mind.

You know he’s playing through an injury, right? I wish he’d sit to recover, but he refuses to sit out games.

You know that's not a positive thing, that's a negative on Harden's rep, right?

Westbrook trying to pull Rockets together

There’s also this timely piece from Shams. Looks like Westbrook figured out what was necessary much quicker than Paul did

It's a shame that RW is playing so well. He's going to have one of his last opportunities ruined by HardLn.

Maybe but we’ll never know.

And why do we just pretend like the 2017 loss to the Spurs never happened? That was less than 3 years ago...

look at what Chris Paul is doing in OKC.
The thunder got both the better player and all the assets in that trade. Harden has nobody to blame but himself for not making that work

Now he’s on a worse team with fewer ways to improve

You can’t count on Chris to be healthy.

And what do you mean it didn’t work? they won more games in those two years than any other team and only a Chris injury kept them from knocking off the greatest team in nba history.

And the rockets may be slightly worse, but there is no golden state out there this year. Or anything close to golden state if we being honest.

I mean it didn’t work because they broke it up.
That was just dumb and based on personality not game play. On the court they could have beaten anybody

Yeah but you guys can't even beat the Grizzlies and HardLn is shooting like 9% from 3 over the past few games. That's not how potential champions prepare for a run.

You don't start playing like a champ when the playoffs start. Has to start when maybe you don't feel like turning it on.

WBB, no matter how many times you try to say otherwise the rockets never played the greatest team in nba history in the playoffs.

You conveniently bring up paul’s injury while neglecting to mention steph curry being less than 2 months removed from knee surgery, igoudala missing numerous games, Thompson leaving game with injury just from that year.

And we all know what happened the last 5 quarters of last year’s series with Chris Paul and no Durant.

The turn It on post all star break. You must have missed last year where they were 15th on D prior to all star break, then #2 after the break. For a veteran team, the break is the signal that it is playoff time.

Based on those numbers, CP3 is a notch above him.
