OSU has played like dogcrap today in every way. No excuses not to blow Ill. out
It isn't about OSU beating either of the top 2 teams this week. It's how much can they gameplan and do they have the players to compete with 5 weeks between games.
But as of today, they suck

That OSU D is terrible. Haven't stopped too many people at all. Wouldn't be surprised to see Baylor or Stanford jump them soon.

Coming into that game OSU was #10 in points per game defense, top 10 in rush defense. Missed 3 starters but that was pretty bad.
Think they should play way better vs Indiana once Bosa, Perry, and Grant come back

Their D was definitely shitty today but they were playing without their starting 2 LBs and Bosa went down in the first half. Still, it's Illinois and there's no excuse for it.
Stanford looked impressive vs Oregon but they lost to Utah and that alone should eliminate them from consideration. I would have no problem with Baylor getting the nod over tOSU if they both run the table but their D hasn't looked good either.
We are getting ahead of ourselves though...still a lot of football to be played.

LBers are very sub-par aside from Shazier, and our DBs are average except Roby when he wants to play.
Our DLine is extremely solid though, I hope Vrabel sticks around for a year or two.

Josh Perry had a really good game vs Purdue, think he would have made an impact today. Bosa definitely was (so was Spence but he was getting held every play haha)
Shazier has been awesome all year, deserves his All-American status for sure, probably should have scored a touchdown today haha
