I don't know what weird LL you played...Cal Ripken? Or some regional, LL organization that nobody has ever heard of?
Nobody knows - but it's fair to assume a league which includes the entire world...by far, more than anyone else...has far more leagues in far more countries than everyone else...GETS THE BEST TALENT...
...and LL is oldest, the biggest and global and so is the best because it attracts the best talent from around the globe.
That's why it's on major network TV...and your regional youth baseball organization isn't.

Which are worse than real PJ predictions...

I know Taiwan went through a long history of dominating in the LLWS and then they were finally caught cheating...when LL - finally decided to actually question where all these players came from...and they came from the entire country instead of one local town. It was a country All-Star team.
Japan pulled this trick too. But got caught...and wised up.
South Korea hasn't been here since the 1980's.
Wouldn't be surprised if this were a "country team."
Because any country foreign...can submit whatever paperwork...we don't know? It's their country's paperwork...who are we to question - "what is official"?
It's easy to cheat internationally. Taiwan did it from 1970 - 1983 (winning everything, every year with huge kids...until Cody Webster and Washington, beat those frauds.)

All I know is that ESPN makes the opening sequence and intros as annoying as possible. I don't see how it could get any worse.
