OSU has been radio silent on this. I mean, regardless of politics, how many times do your student athletes visit the sitting President of the United States?
Both George W. Bush & George H.W. Bush spoke at OSU’s graduations in 1990 & 2006 so the school doesn’t avoid politics.

I think Liv has some good ideas with a more festive atmosphere and relaxed attire, but the team golf concept will never catch on. It’s such a waste of marketing spend.
I don’t know who is pitching it, but it’s a loser. If you want LIV to be different than PGA, they need to brand it as the tougher tour with more challenging courses.
