CL's DC blows two leads again late in the 4th by blitzing the house on 4th and long and leaving a WR uncovered.

Some guy a few rows in front of me said that was some stupid coaching, and the DC's wife loses it and starts yelling at everybody to shutup and go coach if they can do better. Then the coaches wives go cry to their hubbies in the press box and next thing you know the Ex-CL principal whos boy is the DC comes running up the stadium with a half dozen cops and try to kick the guys out who said the coaching was stupid.

Freaking ridiculous how thin skinned the people running CL are. Last year it took a whole quarter for the cops and principal to deal with the sheet of glass one of the coaches punched out and fell on everybody's head, but say one of the good ole-boys who's been dragging CL down for 20 years is a bad coach and they're up there faster than Usain bolt to kick you out the stadium.

Sadly Shelly is the AD now and is never going to demote himself from DC, and CL will never win as long as he has any significant say in running the defense.

Man, I had high hopes for Shreve this year after starting out 4-0. At least we slaughtered byrd. And I thought we had a real shot at Loyola last night. Even though they are 8-0 for the first time since they had Tony Papa toting the rock when they were still Jesuit. Hope they can still make the playoffs. This has been their best season since I was playing and we had to play first round games against West Monroe until they changed the playoff format. We thought we were pretty good my sophomore year until Tommy Banks ran for 400 yds and 10 touchdowns. Dude could not be tackled.I hope Loyola can make a run this year.

The woe's continue for Ouachita.

Ruston's program is on the upswing. Probably a season or two away from getting back to a state power.

I watched CL against Hahnville last week. They didn't look well coached on defense to say the least.

Yep, it's a shame I feel bad for the kids cause his scheme makes it look like they're terrible, getting gashed for big play after big play. If you watch the film though you see they aren't put in a position to succeed. He blitzes his linebackers & safeties completely out of the play 70-80% of the time, if they don't make the tackle in the backfield then there's nobody in the 2nd level there to make a tackle.

There's talent here. I'm not saying talent to beat Hahnville & Destrehan consistently, but damn we're way more talented than HLB & Tbonne (both of those teams don't even have a QB).
