the third quarter BM went crazy... they returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, then recovered the onside and scored again. we thought we grabbed the momentum back when we made it 17-12 with 3:00 left in the 3rd, but a diving TD catch and a sack scoop and score on our next possession put it away. they scored on the first play of the 4th after an interception, and pinned us at the 0.1 and that was ballgame
but it was the first time (i think) we've led a catholic league team other than HC since 1989
we've only had 10 chances to do so in the Jason Tucker era 
in those 10 games, the score combined now is 388-28
rummel and west jeff up next probably won't help it and yes, our crowds have been disappointing all season, but tonight was disgraceful, and if the fieldhouse we're building wasn't already half built, i would have called and asked them to cancel it. i don't think we care enough to win in 5A, and when you look at the crowd Brother Martin brought that was into it, that was the difference

Scotlandville beats zachary 41-36. Zachary was down 19 and stormed back at the end but to late. They might as well not even trot a defense out on the field. Conservative play calling until last 8 minutes. If Zachary would run 2 minute drill all game they would score at will. They have played with fire all year and it finally caught up with them. It's a shame to see all the firepower on offense go to waste.
