Absolutely, Ruston apparently didn't notice 7 lined up both times in the perfect spot for the pooch. Ruston didn't see it or apparently react, they got out coached there for sure. I was telling my buddy, I'm no genius but 7 is a baller number, haven't scouted crap, but I don't think I'd kick it there...2 returns later I was sadly right

Typically classy move by Ruston to pay tribute to Tarver Braddock
That’s great to hear

Yup. Difference in game.

Agreed. I hate they lost but this may serve Ruston well. ??

Great game. Ruston hamstrung themselves with some penalties, but Neville led first downs 17 -12
Neville had more penalties than Ruston. The sophomore qb just keeps getting better and made some huge throws despite the early interception. He never blinked.

Agree about the district. Other than Pineville, no easy outs.

St. Amant beat EA 17-12. EA played very sloppy but so did St. Amant, especially in the end. EA could have won the game too.

What’s the deal about cattle prods and tasing

Ruston had many more yards in penalties. I agree about Robinson as a very mature Sophmore QB. This game should give him lots of confidence going forward.
I can't think of the last Sophomore to start at QB for Neville. Maybe Bubby Brister?

For a bit there I thought Ruston was on pace to set a record with penalties, most self inflicted, some just down right odd. They can definitely learn from it as some suggested.

Wasn’t me
I know numbers are tight but I honestly felt bad for these guys. Physically they couldn’t keep pace. Mentally they didn’t know the rules. 3rd and 18. Call defensive PI. Not a terrible call if I get past the fact that a guy 3 feet from the play staring at it didn’t call it but the guy 20 yards up field did. They move the ball 15 yards from LOS and give a first down. When it’s pointed out 20 seconds before the next snap they wouldn’t stop play or anything.
And it wasn’t a partisan affair. The Brusly chain crew told me they have never seen anything like it. Had to be between 35-40 penalty flags thrown. They were missing legit no doubt objective penalties like 12 men on the field.

I have no idea tbh but I heard that on LA Prep Scoreboard tonight. First I had heard about it. I know it’s in relation to EA/St Amant kids rolling each others houses, but I know it’s gone way past rolling houses lately.

Toby Ziegler, Robert Lane, and John Diarse.

That NEVER happens in Ruston. Very uncharacteristic of that site.

Craziest part is he played TE at St. Fred last year while Ouachita’s current QB played QB. Parker has looked the part for a long time now. Kid can play.

Mandeville could make a run to the dome this year, Sheppard is the whole offense but they play very disciplined ball. One of the best tackling high school teams I’ve watched in awhile

I beat a pretty good player on a 60 yard pic six tonight

Catholic 35
Central 17
Credit Catholic they came out firing away!
Good for Central 6 - 0 be to humbled; but not the same without Starting RB OUT for Year (Car crash);
they were good enough to beat
DeLaSalle
Denham Springs
Walker
Cecelia
LCA (Lafayette)
Woodlawn
without him....
But tonight Central really needed him ; Catholic Defense was impressive
