AM that's one of the angles I am referring to. It's offset from where the wing official is. A lot depends on his or her view of the ball at the time the ball carrier is down.

I got thrown under the bus a few years back in a Q final game by a similar thing, but a video from directly behind me proved i was right by about 2 inches ... and it was a one goes home and one advances play.

fumbled kick returned for td is a rare one.

I wonder how the R broadcast sounded when Bears hit that FG in dome?

It's Kenny Trahan, so you tell me?

He's probably the best of all game broadcasters at that level.

We have got to find a better district.

What I heard was that districts might go by divisions for this next reclassification…

So it might be Chalmette, Belle Chasse, Hahnville, Destrehan, and East St John in NOLA area nonselect I. That’s plenty strong enough

The bayou schools add South Lafourche and South Terrebonne and that’s a district. Northshore district minus St Paul’s plus Salmen is the same

yes, as the gap between the haves and have nots gets wider some changes need to be made.

I know HS officiating can be bad, but that takes the cake….

And I’ve seen some bad officiating….
inadvertant whistle is way way way worse and happens at every level, so is DQing the wrong player, and lets not forget giving a team an "extra" down or losing a down.

But how do you quantify haves and have nots? We know who they are but it’s a spectrum

That's a longer response than I have time for right now(I am getting for my "event" today and I don't want to disparage ANY team) . But take a look at the vast majority of districts in the state there are far more running clock games than "challenge" games. nobody benefits from 6 running clock games a year. Enrollment data as a classification guide likely needs to be looked at too.

Rummel looks to be improving. They do have a lot of youth.

They will be scary in a couple of years.

tough to tell from camera angles, none are from the same as the covering official. Elbow hits ground = down. No not my game

Not his call, but you can see the umpire signaling (forearm/fist across his chest) to the short wings that Remo scored.

Who exactly?

Rummel had 8 starters out, they had two freshman safeties starting against Holy Cross.

Yet Central's RB had 183 yards rushing + 195 Yards Passing!

Clown World if you think that was a domination by Catholic HS

+ not to mention the impressive Goal line stand to begin game!

Central coming in 3rd in that district is about as good as it can get for Central. Good for them.

I asked the question last week if their head coach Monica was on the hot seat.

He hasn’t done anything since 19’.

The rest of the league is passing Rummel by.

Rummel will be back, they just got the injury bug this year…. It happens…

Their best running back was hurt last night….

They lost every starter on defense that year, sort of like LSU in ‘19…
