There may be a depth issue from what I saw. But their lines stack up against anyone and it doesn’t get the publicity but that wins a lot of football games in high school

And as an ASH fane I am pulling for them, Destrehan and Union to get to winning.

If evangel comes back Capt Shreve could score 138 points in 2 weeks and be 0-2.

Tied at 70 (!!!)… overtime? They’re clearly not stopping each other… this could be national news in the morning

Captain Shreve wins it

Evangel drops to 1-5 with Lafayette Christian and Parkway left… they have an uphill climb to make the state playoffs

Be the funniest thing ever if they go to the split back veer and just lean on everybody in a few years after Houston graduates

Looks like it’s over. 77-76 Capt Shreve

So in the last two weeks:
Airline 69
Capt Shreve 68

And

Capt Shreve 77
Evangel 76

A cardiologist at Highland is about to make a shite ton of money off Shreve fans.

Supposedly it's homecoming for the Green Wave... interesting to pick your homcoming game against a non-district team that beat you in the playoffs last season...

Also, let's check in to see if Chalmette changing district is leading to a better schedule, halfway through the season.

Our old district:

Riverdale 2-2
Bonnabel 2-3
East Jeff 2-3
Higgins 2-3
West Jeff 1-3
Ehret 1-4 (the one game we kept)

Our new district:
Chalmette 3-2
Fountainbleu 2-3
Salmen 2-3
Slidell 1-4
Northshore 0-5

Meanwhile, the other northshore district:
Covington 5-0
Mandeville 5-0
Hammond 4-1
St Paul's 3-2
Ponchatoula 1-4

If our goal was to get a better regular season schedule to prepare for playoffs, we got put in the wrong Northshore district...

Records don’t tell the whole story… it’s just a different level of competition with more complete programs… especially Northshore. Their schedule makes being 0-5 deceiving, and they’ll win district games… I mean last year they went to West Monroe and won, something we’ve never did

Though I kind of agree, district doesn’t seem that good, but I’ll take them over the JP district

For 6-5A too. Mandeville and Covington are both 5-0 but neither have really played anyone that good. Covington’s best win is Franklington and Mandeville’s is a 2-3 Madison Prep.

Easy win for Chalmette. The Ponchatoula program is in the shitter. Willie knew what he was doing when he quit and took a job on the SLU staff. Then they turned around promoted from within. The administration does not care about winning.
