You need to have that edit button handy. A lot of games are being moved to Thursday due to "impending weather".

0.41 inches of rain in the forecast for the NOLA metro. For the 24 hours. 0.41 in the actual forecast, not in the doom maps everyone throws up online that are nothing more than weather porn for the weak.

OMG! Move the games! We are all going to die! Maybe classes should be cancelled too.

Idk it’s getting kind of late to move them

if it’s just Chalmette and Hahnville, that’s two schools who get gates and would do everything to protect them

Thursday game is an immediate 30-40% hit on attendance and concessions.

The weather forecast is different in all parts of the state.

Chalmette looks like 55% chance of rain. 2 tenths of an inch of rain.

My opinion is they should have stuck with Friday. Especially if the issue is gate.

Looks like most of the New Orleans metro will see some rain Friday but it's by no means looking like a washout at this point. Some areas will have no rain.

Thanks man. I guess Mandeville is not getting much respect from the voters. They have a real nice offense this year. Defense needs to get better, but they have a D-I cornerback.

When travel isn’t an issue, I don’t know if that’s the case anymore. ADs are doing the math and deciding Thursday>rain on Friday

Does anyone look at actual forecasts anymore or just doom casting charts and hype men on TV?

The actual forecast for Chalmette:

Thursday 75% chance of rain, .33 inch, 10mph wind
Friday 55% chance of rain, .19 inch, 9mph wind

There was absolutely no reason to move the game other than the same kind of knee jerk emotion we see for any kind of weather around here.

I'm not on some campaign here, I couldn't care less when they play. I just hate the way they jump the gun around here. There was no reason to move a Friday game on Tuesday.

Was just reading that.

Saw a video of some extended intense fighting. It was pretty vicious.
