Wow. Neville blows a 21-0 lead. That’s crazy. In one of the overtimes Ruston converted a 4th and goal from the 46!?!?!?! How does that happen?

Crazy night at WM. Man how far Evangel has fallen is nuts. The most shocking stat from tonight was this, pulled from a Jake Martin article.

quote:

Evangel had just 48 total yards in the loss, including only eight passing yards. None of the three Eagle completions went to a receiver.

That’s a line I NEVER thought I’d see about Evangel. ZERO RECEPTIONS BY A RECIEVER.

Thanks for sharing the article.

What has happened to Evangel? I have my own thoughts on the subject, but would like to hear yours.

I wish I could tell you but the Neville radio broadcast went dead right when Ruston was about to start on Offense after Neville scored first in OT. I guess there was a Unsportsmanlike on a Ruston player on Neville's first OT TD on the PAT and it moved Ruston way back and then it went downhill from there. I heard Ruston threw a hail marry TD to tie and then it went to 3 OT's and Ruston won with a FG.

Once they started accepting vouchers and the families with money started to abandon them.

It was over.

One of the few benefits of having the storm wreak havoc on the state is with the number of games pushed up in the week, the highlight packages on the Friday night shows were better than usual, but J.T. still managed to screw up half of them.

Brother Martin pulls out the win, for the sixth year running, against the Jesuit Blue Jays in one whale of a Catholic League/Louisiana high school football game. Crusaders got a winning touchdown inside of 30 seconds. Both clubs have some great and BIG athletes. Both of Jesuit's QB have size, and the receiver Besh is tall, lanky and quick.

BM's Garrett Mmhat has some poise; Jaylon Spears is having a breakout season at RB, he's got 9 TD in the first two games, rarely goes down on first contact, has great moves and another gear. BM's TE's are both big, one of them caught a 95 yard TD last night.
