Cool. My point still stands. Watch the tape. Awful officiating the whole game. Against both teams so I guess it evened out
I watched the first q that was enough for me. I saw 1 verbal warning for UNS to both teams,

15 yar FM - no doubter gonna get called every time

fumble for catholic runner was on defender so not actually down and still moving when ball came out - fumble
enc - yeah 2 players

ilf - my guess is one of the tackles was too far back maybe

destrehan hold had 2 flags nuff said

punter's knee is on ground he is clearly down - whistle or not can't hit him

late hit on bears again no doubter

sw no doubter

dest taunt after score no doubter (see a pattern here)

dest late hit

Holding calls have leeway(does it restrict defender, is it at the point of attack, did offense gain advantage) safety fouls and UNS very little leeway..... especially when they are points of emphasis to reduce fights....

as for hitting receivers too hard as a former very violent safety - i don't make the rules but rules constantly change....

I don't need to watch anymore to see that your just whining.

Definition
A defenseless receiver is a player who is attempting to catch a pass but has not yet become a runner. This includes the player who intercepts the pass.

Illegal contact
It is a foul if a player makes unnecessary contact with a defenseless receiver. This includes:

Forcibly hitting the receiver's head or neck with the helmet, facemask, forearm, or shoulder

Illegally launching into the receiver

Legal contact
Contact is considered legal if it is incidental to making a play on the ball, initiated with open hands, or an attempt to tackle by wrapping the arms around the receiver

Clarification
The 2023 rule changes added a list of criteria to help identify defenseless receivers and clarify allowable contact.

We had this called on us last year for hitting the receiver in the belly.

IMO both offenses struggled with field conditions. Hard to say.
