State runner up returning nearly 20 starters is ranked too low.

I’m surprised that Destrehan isn’t a top 25 team.

Where is that top 25 list from? Holy Cross isn't in the top 10 of the LSWA poll.

The entire non district schedule is much improved from the previous years. Byrd, a very good Cecilia program in recent years, Scotlandville (who I know has really went downhill), and John F. Kennedy (who’s better than people think from glancing at the name of the school). Regardless, it’s more reputable programs than years past. Programs who have potential to be pretty good and schools who are around the same size as us.

I’m pretty sure O has heard a lot about the scheduling. But there seems to be a different mindset and attitude in that football program now. Seems to me like they have a chip on their shoulder and really want to get the best out of their kids, which is very refreshing tbh lol.

I’m glad he did it don’t get me wrong. I’m excited as usual for the season and hope this harder schedule gets them prepared for the district and playoffs.

I’m with ya. Hopefully this helps them to reach that potential, that’s honestly always been there. They just can’t ever reach that next step it seems lol. Tougher schedule should help a lot though.

It’s been raining almost non-stop for the past 2 days in Monroe, and it’s still coming down. This should be a nice, sloppy game between St. Fred’s and Loyola. I’m looking forward to the progress St. Fred’s makes with their new head coach, Bilderback at the helm.

St. Fred’s and Loyola

Did I see correctly that Loyola is playing up to 4A, while St. Fred’s is 1A this season?

St. Frederick is 1A. I wasn’t sure about Loyola. But their players look much bigger than ours when they got off the bus!
