West Monroe up 16-7 almost half time at Byrd. West Monroe has 2 turnovers and Byrd scored on a blocked punt. WM's defense is legit, but the offense is bringing up the rear at the moment.

West Monroe drives it down and can't get 1 yard in two tries. QB goes the wrong way on 4th down. Byrd scores on a 79 yard touchdown on the 1st play after the turnover on downs. 23-16 Byrd.

Wow, why the hate for Lou did he sit you on the bench or something? I'm from Hahnville too; Lou has his work cut out for him this year. The team is not as big as usual and pretty young. Heard they were down to the Blue Jays at half....didn't catch the score though.

I played for barbier .. Don't think that rumor is true but you never know .. He did not have much success his last couple of stops but I am sure HHS could do worse ..
