While it’s in the air the punting team can not contact receiver or obstruct his path to the ball.

So why did they give it to Central? Did it hit a WM player?

They let Northshore back in the game in the 2nd half. They are lucky they pulled it out but a win is a win. 41-38 Gators

I was told replay showed it hitting Central player first. Hard to tell on sidelines. They huddled for 5 minutes and gave it to them. Then a 15 yard penalty on WM. Didn’t matter. I just wanted clarification on the rule, because they didn’t give him a chance to catch it.

What has Northshore been doing that’s been successful against St Amant?

Big plays in the passing game, we kept losing containment on their QB, untimely penalties, and they was playing inspired ball while we looked like we were just going through the motions. That being said, the better team won and Cade went beast mode when we needed it the most. Hats off to Northshore, it looked like it was going to be over at halftime and they fought till the end. Gators can't play like that next week or else they will be watching the playoffs at home. Geaux Gators!!

From the lhsaa website, it shows Amite hosting Lake Arthur for round 2. How is this possible if LA traveled in round 1. I literally just got home from a 4 hour journey each way to and from Mangham and I sure as hell don't wanna drive another 4 to Amite next friday

Congratulations West Monroe on your perfect season, a #1 seed in the playoffs, and a 5-touchdown victory in your first round game!

Now you have to drive past Baton Rouge for round two because "it wouldn't be fair" if Dutchtown didn't get a home game!

But on the Dutchtown side, I can't believe they are still alive considering the 2016 trainwreck season and their starting QB being out for the season. Mistretta must be the real thing.

No. High seed host first round and semis. 2nd round and quarters is determined on who has traveled and who hasn't.

Jeff davis parish went undefeated also, Jennings, welsh, lake Arthur and elton won. District 4-3a should have been undefeated too, Iowa, Jennings, st. Louis and westlake won. Only Washington-marion lost, loranger came back on them.

Sorry Amite is 3 hours not 4, it's still dreadful when you have a 4 year old passenger. I'll gladly take the 3 minute drive at home any day, especially knowing its going to be our last game of the season

St Charles Parish went undefeated, of course we only have two high schools.
