I think higher seeds should always get home game. It would reward having a tough schedule and winning your regular season games IMO.

Because these aren't NFL teams. How much money is U High spending to travel to Shreveport two weeks in a row? I'm not trying to argue that one instance specifically, but Powerpoints are boot perfect. They are better than the old system, but they can be manipulated by teams, especially in the lower classes.

Agreed, I think the gripe is that they do it to lessen the travel costs. Perhaps this should be done in the lower divisions, but can't see this being a problem for most 4-5A schools.

Isn't that what the ranking system is for?

ND Crowley defense was stifling tonight...... Very pumped to see them play EF next week..... Although the fact ND has to travel is garbage.

I don't give a shite about how the seeding is done. I just think it's dumb to not have the higher seed play at home. If that means Curtis is at home until the Dome, so be it.

Ha!

A team gets more points for beating an 0-10 school than losing to a 9-1 school.

You're still hung up on something someone said that we're not even talking about. Nobody cares about how the seeding is determined.

The ranking system only guarantees the higher seed will be at home in round 1. Both teams split the gate in playoffs plus the home team also has to pay the visiting team a travel expense(not sure of the exact number, but it goes by mileage) so money shouldn't be the deciding factor IMO
