STM's QB is the most underrated QB in the state imo. Been starting for 3 years which doesnt happen much at STM. They will pull out a close one.

Brandon Bergeron is def not underrated at all.... everyone knows hes one of the top 5 qbs in the state. He struggled against semifinal loss to acadiana in 2010, struggled against quarterfinal loss to Karr in 2011, and will have a bad game against St. Aug or Karr, most likely Karr

Pretty damn good this year. This group has been playing together since they were freshman.

you know how many kids EF has playing or will be playing college ball lol

yes, less than Curtis. There is a reason they are number 1 in the country.
Im talking two seasons ago when Beckwith was a sophomore. That EF team was loaded.

Central would love to play Catholic without the cheating refs that side with Catholic Schools. Da Gay Bears will lose to the Wildcats again

Fixed.

And the other team didn't bust theirs?

What can you tell me about Parkway; size, speed, etc.
Hahnville is a much different team than they were in the early season, looks like they finally found some offense.

Good matchup for Hahnville, one of the few teams left they can beat.

I can't stand Catholic's trash talking in here, but they are playing at home against the Bayou District runner up.

If NISH is worse than South Lafourche, then catholic moves on.

I love how all the Catholic fans come on here talking shite. They barely beat Carencro last night and they talk as if they beat them by 30+. You gay bears better worry about what's in front of you and not a game that is 2 weeks away. I predict Catholic gets upset this week against New Iberia, which would inevitably send Central on the road to a stadium they have been eliminated in playoffs the last 2-3 years I believe.

Catholic is still rolling after skull dragging Carencro

Winning by one in OT after nearly choking away a game they had well in hand =/= a "skull dragging"

And this is where the playoff format gets stupid. Parkway now has to travel 7 hours to play a team 16 spots lower, just because St Paul's predictably choked.

Welcome to the bizarre world of LHSAA. We are going to have the honor of traveling to Shreveport the day after Thanksgiving AGAIN to face Calvary. Did it last year when they were the #3 and we were #6 and now we are #3 and they are #6 and we still have that miserable trip. Almost doesn't matter how you get seeded once we are past the first playoff game.

Interesting reclassification note. Found out that we had 7 fewer students than last time they did it, and they still put us in 3A. Apparently Episcopal and Dunham were tired of conceding the district to us every year. It's interesting that the cutoff for 3A was one less than the number of students we have.

Episcopal has even refused to schedule us in football next year-said they would schedule us in everything except football. What a bunch of whining wimps.

I don't understand this comment. Haven't most varsity teams played together since freshmen?

I wonder how all the canceled games week 1 skewed the seedings.

For example, Lutcher and Dutchtown didn't play. If Dutchtown would have won, Lutcher probably wouldn't have been a 3, where they must have obviously been overseeded. And Dutchtown wouldn't have been a 16 and face obvious elimination next week--not they were good enough to make a deep run anyway. But I bet you they wish the Donaldsonville game was canceled instead.

cut offs always fluctuate a lot in the middle classes... it's the top class low end cut off and bottom class top end cut off - and equally spreading the schools out that cause that.
