Every 5-5A team made it. Even Woodlawn and McKinley. That's embarrassing. McKinley is 3-7 and their biggest win of the year was against 4-6 Woodlawn. They also beat 0-10 Opelousas and an average 2A team (Capitol).
They draw Destrehan in the first round. Destrehan could have only one coach on the sideline and they could give McKinley their HUDL account, and they would still hang 60 on them if they wanted to.

Most teams other than ours I can really only offer opinion and conjecture, and I'm sure I'm wrong plenty. That school, however, I know quite a bit about. We were in their farm system before moving to the U. I also know about their whispers during the reclassification discussions, right before we somehow moved up with fewer kids than the previous time. And somehow the break point ended up being one head count below than our enrollment.

Vandebilt Catholic just had to forfeit last nights game for playing an ineligible player. Any idea how that will affect any brackets?

Like I care?
These younglings on here think something is wrong with being old, and throw that word "old" around like an epithet.
Doesn't bother me. I am what I am.

Ellender probably just got into the 4A playoffs. They were at 34.
South Terrebonne was at 32, but they also will stay in because Vandebilt's forfeit just gave them a share of district.
Riverdale likely just got fricked over. They were the 31.
An article I just read said that Vandebilt will likely fall out of playing a home game, but they have bigger things to worry about.

Select ratings updated.
Vandy dropped to 10. They now go to Teurlings. St. Charles Catholic now paired with de la Salle.

Vandebilt's forfeit also fricked Terrebonne in 5A. It improved their power ranking since they beat Ellender. They now move up to 29 and are rewarded with a rematch with Destrehan.
EA now gets a rematch with McKinley.
EA without Palelei was a much more favorable matchup for whoever got them. McKinley actually played the first game after the injury (I think) and only lost 41-28. It was either the first game without him or the game he got hurt.

I sure hope St. James continues to head in the right direction. They appear to have righted the ship. It's crazy how bad they fell off.

Just noticed that Haughton and Airline have to go to Ponchatula and Covington. Maybe they can carpool.

I believe South Terrebonne will replace Riverdale as the 32 in 4A because they split the district with Vandebilt after Vandebilt forfeited their win last night. They were the 33.

Since Vandebilt Catholic beat South Terrebonne during the season, wouldn't that make them district the district champs with no split? Browsing the message boards at the moment and trying to find a ruling on this.
ETA: Couldn't they just say that South Terrebonne won district since all of the select schools are in regardless??? frick this new playoff system.

I don't think they differentiate for head to head, but I have no clue for this select/nonselect stuff.
I mean, always remember that Ole Miss was the SEC West Champion in 2003

Final power ratings on both KenRamsey and LouisianaFootballTalk still have Riverdale as the 32nd seed and South Terrebonne as the 33rd seed.
ETA: for whatever it's worth, they're not the only 5-5 team left out. Bolton is also 5-5 and ranked 36th
