No way, even if they make it which they wont. Their bracket is brutal and they have 0 depth. They won't beat WM. Jump off the cro bandwagon before Acadiana n WM kick ya off

What's screwed up is a second round matchup of SCC and Patterson. #1 vs # 2 in 3a.
Also of course Central over St Paul

4A is Neville

Maybe but they have to get through Breaux Bridge in the Semis and the winner on that side of the bracket will likely play St. Thomas Moore.

I have Breaux Bridge winning 4a, I think either Karr or STM will come from the bottom half. I would like to see Neville play some real competition before I anoint them like others. They played an okay Ouachita team and nobody else.

Zachary has a puncher's chance against Acadiana. Just don't think the defense is going to be able to stop Acadiana.

If they can pass well then they have a shot. If Zachary runs the ball alot then I don't see them doing too much against Acadiana.

West Monroe might lose in the playoffs this year, but it won't be to the Wing T. Cocoa Beach, Fl ran it a couple of weeks ago and had ZERO yards at the half. It'll take a team passing the ball to beat WM. Barbe is the best bet IMO. Even in the Dome Acadiana won from a playaction TD on the first play and a playaction pass down inside the 5 to set up both of their touchdowns.

I hope this is the year stm doesnt choke. They got a great draw imo. Wm is too disclipned to get beat by the wing t amd their coaches> carencro but caremcro can score the damn ball. 5a is WIDE open

Neville, St. Aug, and Breaux Bridge all on the other side of the bracket. If STM is ever going to make it to the Dome, it SHOULD be this year.

Brent Indest>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hightower

Indest won at fricking Kaplan and has coached at the D1/FBS level and has had recent offers to go back.

He said WM Coaches > Indest which is true. Shows and Arledge have coached at the D1 level too.

Whats the story with Dutchtown

They are huge. And not huge/slow.

Only team to beat Lutcher this year (that's not saying all that much of course considering we were in a very weak district).

Sorry but I don't think Ponchy will keep it close.

U-High got a good draw for a change, not being sent to play Curtis at home in the second round. Looks like 2 home games against lower seeds, then Calvary at Calvary. Our pass defense has not been great, but according to my Redemptorist friends who played both teams, we should be able to run the ball on them. Assuming we get that far, I will be in Shreveport the Friday after Thanksgiving instead of Tiger Stadium.

(kids always come first though)

Pretty much all zachary has is passing right now but the last few weeks even that has been non existent. Run game was terrible against denham. Qb play will be the key if Zachary's qb can eliminate mistakes they might have a chance. But then again this is the worst defense I have seen at Zachary in 10 years so they might have to make it a shootout to win.

Nice piece in The Advocate this morning about what gives me hope for U-High in the playoffs. We have a really good and very experienced offensive line, and should be able to control the clock with our running game. This is also the deepest team we have probably ever had, which helps going against teams that have a lot of players that play both sides of the ball.

It Starts Up Front
