BTW, Shows told the boosters today WM will play ESJ, Curtis, St. Paul's, an Arkansas power, next year and someone from Calvary on WM's site posted that they might announce a game with WM. Yeah WM sounds very scared of South LA teams.

Damn. I wish you were playing Curtis while Turner was still there.

Id love to see WM in the River parish District. Boy they would have some good games. They have a great program, but they play in what would be the Big ten. And in the river parish league, its like the SEC. Not very many easy games from week to week. Hahnville, destrehan,ESJ,st.Amant,EA and Dutchtown. A little tougher than, Captain shreve,Airline, ouachita,Byrd,Southwood,Pineville and Natchitoches Central. Id say year in year out the river parish district is alot tougher over all.

The old 2-4a/2-5a was 10x harder than the river parish district. Neville, Ruston, Ouachita, WM, and Bastrop. Someone from that district played for the title an absurd amount of years.

ESJ offense is pretty sick, they could give west Monroe some problems. Curious to see what's going to happen in the Dutchtown game next week.

I was at the Hahnville/Dutchtown game last night. Hahnville blew the game. Too many penalties, a turnover at the one yard line, stupid throw by the QB that was picked, ending a drive.

I'm not sure ESJ beats D-Town, but I think it will probably be a shoot out with ESJ throwing and D-Town running.

Either way, I can't see D-Town beating the likes of Acadiana, West Monroe or St Thomas More com playoff time.

A couple of big catholic leave games today. Brother Martin plays St.Aug and Jesuit plays Shaw. I like BM and Jesuit to win. Aug and BM should be a high scoring game because no way Aug will stop Dante Butler and Aug can score points on anybody. Leon Fournette should be back this week after being held out last week.

yea man it's crazy how well they're doing in only their 3rd year of football. Coach Landrum is doing a great job there. As of last week, they are in the playoffs.

The final two games are against John Curtis and Riverside

I thought Dutchtown had another stud DB that's coming out next year? Yeah I know they can throw elsewhere, just wondering. If he's as good as everyone was saying, it should be a great matchup with ESJ's stud WR.

Yep, the ESPN crap definitely had that WM team extremely overconfident and Acadiana took advantage. Great job by Acadiana that year.

WM still beat Acadiana twice in the semifinals with Alley Broussard and in the state championship 28-7 with Cutrera...

I am glad hopefully Newman vs lusher will turn into a legit uptown rivalry, we used to play de lasalle but they turned into trash don't know how they are now.

This is part of it, Fisher's QB who was leading them in rushing yards and TD's got injured in the 3rd game of the season. He was far and away the best player on the team. All around they are a lot worse than usual.

yea that would be a good one. Lusher is still a young team so they will improve more over the next couple of seasons. They didn't play that bad against Newman but didn't have enough speed to keep up with them. Also it's gonna be nice next season when they won't be in the same district as John Curtis, St Charles Catholic and Riverside

De La Salle is 3-5 right now and have won 3 straight so it looks like they're improving
