Hope Franklinton wins big.. so N.O. sportscasters will be forced to give them some respect and props. It almost killed WWL commentators last week to give them props when they beat OP Walker.

Really? They've given Franklinton ample credit. Hell Friday Night Football inexplicably put Terrance Magee in their poll for best New Orleans area player.

I think he means if Franklinton is considered "New Orleans area" then roughly half of the state could probably be considered the same.

It opened in '64 as a Jr High, became a HS in '90.

Franklinton RB, #13 broke his arm and had the cart out. He got up and was pretty emotional, his team was pumping up the crowd pretty hardcore. Then they put together a beautiful drive. Capped by Magee TD pass. 21-20 franklinton.
