Every time I see the number 77 in Purple and Gold, it puts a huge smile on my face. I'm good.
Do you smile watching him play defense? I know opposing players do when they're blowing past him.

The Lakers have shutdown wings to do their dirty work. Luka is not the problem. The obvious weakness for my money is the center position. The Lakers are playing small ball and refuse to match up even with teams putting up size in the middle. Reddick seems to be all in, so be it.

I said when Thunder traded Giddy that he’d end up a great player.
The “good” problem the Thunder had is they emerged onto the scene faster and better than anyone thought. They won West reg season last year and lost in 2nd round.
OKC knew to win now they had to trade Giddy. He wasn’t basketball mature enough yet to trust him in future playoffs like this year.
So they traded for Caruso who has been awesome for them. He is a “disruptor” and gives us great bench minutes. Giddy was a starter but he hurt them defensively due to position and young age.
And added IHart who is awesome too.
This is a deal where giddy will end up being better than Caruso but OKC needed Caruso now and couldn’t wait for Giddy to develop. If OKC wins the title or makes final, its worth it to them. And Giddy is someone Bulls can build around for the future as one piece of eventual really good team.
Giddy would have lost minutes and been moved to bench player had he stayed. Bulls van start and develop him.
Trade was a win/win which is not always the case. Glad he is thriving there.

Just looking at some plus/minus lately for Doncic and Lebron:
Bulls 2: LD -1 / LJ -10 / lost
Pacers: LD -16 / LJ +5 / won
Magic: LD -9 / LJ -17 / lost
Bulls 1: LD -9 / -27 / lost
These are recent games where both played. Out of 8 player appearances (4 each) these 2 players had 7 games where they were minus while on court. And one where the player was plus.
In the 4 games Doncic was a net negative while playing. I realize there is more to it but when you have 2 superstars thats a strange stat. Tells me the team isn’t constructed well.
You then have to go back to Celtics game where both played together and they lost game and were -11 and -19.

Can’t wait to see him break down this film on his “Mind the Game” podcast with his next coach.
